Trains

The best way to visit Montenegro by train, is to take a route from Belgrade, Serbia. If you are a foreigner coming from other European destinations, take a rail route to capital city of Serbia - Belgrade, and then continue toward Montenegro. There is several daily train lines from Belgrade to Montenegro in the morning and evening. Since the route goes from Belgrade to Montenegrin coastal town of Bar, you can decide which part of Montenegro you want to visit first. You can either chose to visit northern part of Montenegro, because train passes through some of the mountain tourist centres, or you can continue your way to the coast, to the last train station in the town of Bar.
